KURED

Restaurant/ New York, NY

Kured is a Boston staple offering charcuterie and wine for all occasions.  Founded during the pandemic as a small delivery only business, Kured’s popularity and presence has since grown immensely.  We were tasked with developing their NYC flagship location, offering catering, carry-out as well as eat-in options.  Nestled in Greenwich Village proper, It was a priority to us to help this young entrepreneur define this new brand’s architectural aesthetic.  We transformed our client’s graffiti inspiration image into a wall graphic that informed the industrial nature of our materials pallet.  Stainless steel counters set atop black corrugated metal walls angled acutely to create dynamism within this storefront space.  Black, high-gloss, industrial subway tile is juxtaposed against lime wash walls.  The ceiling is a raw, unpainted tin ceiling.  We created a custom neon sign, reinterpreting another of our client’s inspiration images.
